The warlords would deal a fatal blow to the novice Asajj Ventress when a Weequay raider succeded in killing Narec. United under Osika Kirske's leadership, they began the hunt for the Jedi Knight and his newly adapted padawan learner. The duo quickly brought peace and unity to the divided planet, but their sucess had not gone unoticed-rumors of the two force weilders spread amongs the warlords who were untill this point unchallanged in such a way. Destiny would have it that the Jedi Knight Ky Narec was wandering the planet after his starship had crashed, leaving him out of contact with the jedi order, however, this did not stop him from the desire to train Asajj after witnessing her use the force to defend herself from Weequay raiders. Hal'Sted would take Asajj to her new homeworld Rattatak before being killed from an assault by Weequay raiders.
Asajj Ventress's mother was reluctant to give her daughter to the Siniteen criminal but had to in order to protect the clan.
Originally a Night Sister of Dathomir, Asajj Ventress's mother was forced to give her up to the criminal Hal'Sted.
